Mission Statement

The ZEE Inc. Public Transportation Program will provide the Pueblo of Zuni with a coordinated, accessible and affordable transit system for the general public that improves the quality of life for all citizens by providing access to health care, shopping, education, employment, public, and recreational services. Our program will meet the needs of our passengers by providing timely responsible and safe services provided by professional qualified staff. Efficient and cost effective. The customer will always be our first and foremost consideration.

Services Offered

The ZEE Inc. Public Transportation Program offers transportation for the general public of the Pueblo of Zuni.Available services include:

*Ride to locations within the Pueblo and Blackrock.

*Rides to Gallup and other communities by special request.

*Student transportation for persons attending classes at UNM, Gallup.

*Other trips with special arrangements.

Our services are normally curb to curb, however, special assistance door to door can be provided if arrangements are made in advance. This can be done by contacting the dispatcher at (505) 782-2898 or 1-888-449-5724.

Our fleet includes vehicles with wheelchair lift and tiedowns and other accessibility equipment as required by the American with Disabilities Act (ADA). Please call to make arrangements if you need ADA vehicle.

Service Area

The service area of the agency is the Pueblo of Zuni and the surrounding reservation. The only limitation within this service area is that pick-up and drop-off locations must be accessible to the transit vehicle. This means that these areas must be located near a two lane paved or improved road. The services are available to all residents.

7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

7:00 a.m. earliest pickup and latest drop off 7:15 p.m.

Transportation for UNM students is available. Please contact the dispatcher for more information. Students are required to provided us with their schedules at the beginning of each semester.

Senior Citizens are offered a 25% discount on fares with a senior card. Contact our office for information on how to obtain a Senior discount card.

Our service is on a first come – first served basis unless reservation have been made in advance. So call for a ride as soon as possible. To arrange for a ride or get more information on the transportation program, call: (505) 782-2898

Fares

The transportation program is required to charge a fare but special consideration is given to students, senior citizens and other persons who lack financial resources. The following is our current fare structure:

Local Trips UNM Student Fares

One way - $ .50 One way - $1.00

Round Trip - $1.00 Round Trip - $2.00

Gallup Trips

One way - $2.50* (See note below)

Round Trip - $5.00

Special Request Trips (10 or more passengers)

Each Passenger Charge $10.00

Mileage Charge $00.10

Special Request Trips (Less than 10 passengers)

Each Passenger $10.00

Mileage Charge $00.25

Driver Charge $ 7.50 hour

*This fare allows for one hour for the individual to complete business. If additional time is required, each additional hour will be charged at the rate of $2.50 hour.
