Mission:

The mission of Zuni Entrepreneurial Enterprises (ZEE)/Empowerment Inc. is to

provide individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities the opportunities to fully participate

in their communities through supports and services to develop needed independent living skills

and their rights as human beings are honored and their dignity is respected.

Zuni Entrepreneurial Enterprises (ZEE)/Empowerment Inc. provides a demand response specialized transportation service for elderly individuals and persons with developmental disabilities participating in the employment, residential and other personal support programs.

 

 

Demand Response Services:

 

•     Service Area - Zuni Pueblo, Ramah, Pine Hill and Gallup. 

​

•     Route Design - The organization picks up individuals at their homes beginning within the Zuni Pueblo,                                and Ramah/Pine Hill and Gallup area. All transports then travel to employment and                                      related services in Gallup, New Mexico.

•     Schedule - Services are provided from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday.

•     Fares - Individuals served are not charged a fare for transportation services. Wherever possible, the                         organization secures funding from the Developmental Disabilities Medicaid Waiver                                     program and other funding sources to defray the cost of transportation services
